GRE Quant in 2026: what changed, what didn’t

Quant now appears in two adaptive sections that total 27 questions across 47 minutes: Section 1 has 12 questions in 21 minutes; Section 2 has 15 questions in 26 minutes. The test remains section-level adaptive: your performance in Section 1 influences the difficulty of Section 2. You can skip, mark, and return within a section, and an on-screen calculator is provided.
